Lucerne in Lake Worth Breaks Ground

The developer of The Lucerne recently broke ground on a condominium project in downtown Lake Worth which is the first new condominium to be built in the downtown area in more than 20 years. Located at 531 Lucerne Avenue, Lucerne is in the heart of the city's downtown and within its community redevelopment area, featuring two- and three bedroom units on the approximately one-acre site.

Units at The Lucerne will have European cabinetry, premium appliances, walk-in closets and granite or marble countertops. Units will range from 700 to 1,500 square feet and are priced from the $250,000s to the $400,000s.

Building amenities will include a pool and spa, fitness center and a parking garage with security-controlled access.

Sales started last November and to date, about 80 percent of the units have sold to buyers that include locals and out-of-town buyers across all age groups. In addition to the residential units, The Lucerne also will feature about 6,000 square feet of retail space.
